My kids love a good smoothie. I love them too, and I've found a simple way to sweeten them up without actually spooning in any extra sugar. What is it?
The syrup from a can of fruit.
I save it in a plastic container when the kids each peaches or we have some other fruit out of a can. It adds a good amount of sweetness and makes fruit smoothies taste so much better.
My kids love banana smoothies so we usually use it with those, but you can add it to any flavor.
Mmmm......
