I'm also a Christian, and I seek to glorify my Lord with everything that is posted here on this blog. I became a christian by the sovereignty of God in 2002, and my life has been forever changed. As a result, you will find this blog to be a positive and welcoming place.
I wanted to be a good steward of all that the Lord has entrusted to us and started on a frugal adventure a few years back mainly trying to save money on my own by using coupons. Then, I stumbled upon the world of blogging about a year and a half ago and I became hooked! I was amazed to find that I could actually get stuff for my family for FREE or very cheap using coupons. I was even more thrilled to find out that I could get "paid" for buying stuff with coupons!
After a year of learning the ropes and reading lots of other frugal blogs on a regular basis, I began to get the urge to start my own blog to help people and my family and friends find great deals. As a result....A Lot of Savings was born in January 2009, and it has been an adventure! I'm excited to be able to share my money saving strategies, tips, and ideas with my readers, and I'm thankful for all of your input.
